Teresa Challoner, MD

Teresa qualified in medicine at Aberdeen University (the gold medallist), and trained there in Internal Medicine, before being lured to the attractions of life (and work) in London, initially to gain her doctoral thesis in the neurology/haematology field.

Teresa has over 25 years experience in the pharma industry. This began with 5 years in Glaxo, including as Clinical Project Leader for the first 5HT3 antagonist to reach the market (Zofran®). For 20 years has run her own medical writer/consultancy business.

Her client portfolio includes many of the big pharma companies, as well as smaller companies across Europe and the Middle East. Experience covers virtually all therapeutic areas.

Teresa specialises in writing the clinical sections of regulatory documents, but can turn her hand to any document, and particularly enjoys the challenge of tight time lines.

As a workaholic, Teresa still spends her weekends working in the ER of a major London teaching hospital. By remaining a practising physician, together with previous hands-on experience in clinical development and extensive first-hand investigative research experience, this allows Teresa to bring "medical sense" to documents.
